Hello
Im interested to buy by the 159 usd
But what if i didnt pay to renew next year
Does the translation will stay fine to work at my sites without interruptions ?
Hello, yes, your translations will stay fine. Here’s how it works: you can cancel your subscription at any time. You will find an option to do so in your WPML account. When you cancel, your will still be getting updates (I mean new WPML versions) and you will be getting our support help but only till the end of the first year for which you have paid. After the first year, you can still use WPML plugins and your translations will work as before but you won’t get access to updates and our support assistance.

We are interested in buying WPML Multilingual CMS. Currently we are running a WordPress site with WooCommerce + YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote Premium. We are handling all our purchases through the YITH plugin only, we receive request only per mail and don’t handle any purchases in wordpress. We’d like to leave are main website as it is and have the other languages act as a catalog only. There are two things that I’d like to ask:
1. Is it possible to disable the capabilites of purchasing/requesting and to hide all the prices and cart page. Currently the YITH plugin offers this but is this handled separately in the different languages?
2. How is stock managing happening? Currently on the main site we have products in stock and out of stock. Is it possible to manage stock manually for the different languages? And is it possible to hide the stock information at all for the additional languages?
Hello Daniel,
1- We have tested YITH Request a Quote and it is compatible with WPML. Thus, your settings for the original language should be synch in secondary languages as well. https://wpml.org/plugin/yith-woocommerce-request-a-quote/
2- This is not possible with WPML. Our WCML considers that you have an unique shop, so stocks will be always synchcronised and can’t be managed per language.
How does the 3 websites limit on the Multilingual CMS package apply with regards to a Multisite WordPress installation? Would a Multisite WordPress containing 3 sites count as 1 or as 3 towards the limit?
I am looking for a multilingual plugin to translate my website and I would like to know if WPML is compatible with the Chariton theme because I am currently using this theme on my website
Hello Nicolas,
We have not tested this theme, but it should work well if it was coded following WP standard. You are also welcome to try WPML with it and see how it works. You have up to 30 days. We can issue a refund if not
Does this plugin translate the whole website automatically?
How many (and which) languages are included ?

I want to translate this(https://swadishta.de) website into the German language also. This website uses SeaBreeze WordPress Theme. Also, we use multiple plugins and doing custom code for ORDER ONLINE(https://swadishta.de/order/) page. I want that when customer choose the German language from the dropdown, the whole website converts in German. Can you please suggest to me which plan is better for us? Also, can you provide me 15 days trial version so I can check this plugin work as per my requirement or not? Want to check how it translates english to german.
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in WPML.
The SeaBreeze is not on our list of themes compatible with WPML. I checked the theme description at https://themeforest.net/item/seabreeze-restaurant-and-cafe-wordpress-theme/24262197 and they say “Translation Ready. POT file included. (WPML support is coming soon)” which makes me think this theme might have issues with WPML.
If you want, you can buy WPML keeping our refund policy in mind which allows you to test it for 30 days.
Please note that WPML won’t translate your whole site in one click. Making a site is a process. We provide machine translations too but you need to select the pages and other elements of your site to “send” them to our translation editor. This video will help you understand how it works: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
Hello,
Which plan is better for us for translation? We need to convert pages, posts, products, woocommerce pages(like cart, checkout, my account pages) categories, header and footer content alos.
Hi, we are interested in WPML, but can you please advise the following:
1. Does your plugin offer automatic translation (so the plugin translates all content – similar to https://gtranslate.io/), or it provides the fields, but the actual translation should be done by ourselves?
2. Do you offer Bulgarian and Romanian languages (main language of the site is English)?
3. Do you offer language hosting (if we have a domain .online as a main site, and we also have a the same domain, but with .bg, would you host the .bg one)? Is this what this meas from your Features, or it is something else: You can arrange different language contents in the same domain (in language directories), in sub-domains or in completely different domains.
4. We have a WP Multisite with 6 subdomains currently – would we be needing the Multilingual CMS or the Agency one?
Just one clarification on point 3: would we be able to have a .bg domain for the Bulgarian language, but use subdirectories (.com/ro, .com/de etc) for the other languages?
In other words: have a mix between different domains and directories for the same site.
Hey Dess,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to mix different URL formats. One thing you could consider is to use your .bg domain and subdomains for other languages like:
site.bg
en.site
de.site
Thank you for your reply – we purchased the plugin, however it seems that the automatic translation is not entirely automatic – I need to go and mark which page to be translated, plus it will cost quite a lot if I want to translate the entire website – correct?
We have a WP Multisite, 6 subdomains, and about 50,000 products in total something like 80 categories of products. The products update every 2 days.
The website is fashionfinder.online.
Can you please tell me if I understood correctly – would it be possible with ‘reasonable’ efforts and cost to have a complete automatic translation of the website in 2 languages in addition to the base language which is English – so English + 2 other?
Hi, I have the plugin on our webshop, and now I found an error in the way the products are translated. When I translate them in: Woocomerce –Z woocomerce multilingual –> products products can be send to our wareghouse trough an API which require different ID’s for every product. This way the english will be main and all other products will just be the same when it comes to shipping.
When I have translated I have used the WPML plugin and went to translations management and send the products for automatic translation. This resaults in that all products get their own ID and that does not work for API to the warehouse. This is the way all our products have been translated.
Why is there a difference in how the products can be read by the API? And how do I fix this? If I pay for the plugin again can you then fix it?
I’m not sure to understand the issue and what is different now. If I understand correctly, your API used to work when using manual translation, so it may be related to ATE.
However, as you are using a custom API we are limited in terms of support as it is considered custom code.
At this point, we would need more details and probably login into your site to understand your situation better, however, we can’t guarantee a solution for you.
Hello, I am working on a website and have following requirement.
Multilingual site in arabic and english where user will post data.On site language change
User will see all posts from both english and arabic but all site content will get translated
User posts will have small option like facebook and linkedin called ‘see translation’ to translate the post .All user added posts and comments will have see translation option.
WPML works a bit different. Our plugin creates a different entry for every entry, that means that all your contents will be separated: in one section you will see content in Arabic, in another English. Furthermore, the translations tools are in the backend, not in the frontend as you wish.
I would like to know whether i get the wpml feature for a domain and subdomain. In that case how is the licensing mode? Is it domain based , if thats the case are you limitting to the number of subdomains. Appreciated a swift response.
I would like to know as below . If i have a domain name as http://www.name.com and i have another subdomain as http://web.name.com can i use the same license for both. Also in which domain i need to buy the license , subdomain or parent domain.
If it’s a multisite install then you register once at the parent domain https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/
Or if it’s an install with different domain per language, just register in the default one
However, if the subdomain is just a different WP installation then yes, you need 2 different keys
I know the recipe plugin for my food blog is not listed in your plugin list and might not work. however, its any way i can test it on mt website to see how can translate the recipe card.
I have a question regarding text that may not be able to be stored in the WP database. Is there a function or mechanism by which I can wrap some text translations using php code and use the same functional ‘switch’ that WPML uses to swap out text strings? ie I have a handful of custom buttons that cannot be implemented via my current theme builder, so these buttons have been coded directly into a child template. Thanks in advance.
I have a theme that is compatible with WPML but I also have some custom buttons and misc strings that will not be a part of the WP database. Does WPML have the ability to identify miscellaneous strings for hardcoded items, or some mechanism/functionality to identify and change hardcoded text string. Thanks in advance.
Your previous question was awaiting moderation. I have just replied. To sum up, as long as you wrap your strings into gettext functions, WPML will detect them for translation.
I received an invoice, but it is including VAT.
As I am using this for my company and I have provided my VAT number, I expect a 0% VAT.
How to achieve that?
Hello,
if you are providing your VAT on the checkout and VAT is still being added to your price, please contact us directly via this form: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/ and please send us your VAT number and also your country.
I’m interested in the 79$ plan, but i want to know first if it is possible to translate pages from a plugin (paidmembership pro), and then use these pages in 2 languages across my website.
Precisely, I need the registration, login and edit profile pages to be in french and in english, on different pages.
I just started working with one client that previous developer has used your plugins. I think more than one year has passed since the site was created, but none of the plugins have a purchase key. As I took the site now and updated WordPress core and other plugins, I am installing a new theme and I see problems with the translation. There is a notice:
WPML Update is Incomplete
You are running updated woocommerce-multilingual, but the following component is not updated:

I see that the site is using the following plugins:
Which package of your plans I have to buy so I could do a proper update and make the translation working fine. Honestly I think that WPML Media I won’t need. For me it is important WPML String Translation, because I’m adding new shipping plugins and after translating their strings the language switch is not working as it should be. The site is running Woocommerce and I have attributes that I have translated as they should be, but they are not working as they should be. Do you need to check the site?
Hi i am interested to buy the agency license
I am making many very similar websites for different geographical locations. Each will be translated to about 5 languages.
When i translate one website and then clone it using a duplicator plugin, will there be any issues with the translations being copied accross. When duplicating i need to re-enter the license key for WPML?
I dont want to translate the different page elements (menus etc) every time. I want to do that once then duplicate it to other websites, then add custom content for each website which i will then translate in WPML
Hello,
you can duplicate your sites but when you do so and log into your site, you will see a modal popping up asking if the site was moved or copied and you need to choose the correct option. This is the case when duplicating pages that use machine translations. Yes, you will need to reenter the key, because we generate a key per domain. The key is needed to get updates.
Hello,
here’s the list of all themes that have been tested by our Compatibility Team: https://wpml.org/theme/
Unfortunately, the Brikk theme is not there but it can still work fine. We simply don’t know. You can check it yourself and keep our refund policy in mind Yes, WPML works very well with WooCommerce.
I would like to buy your plugin but I need to know if your plugin allows to create a shop with diffrent categories and products for different languages? It menas that the products on deutch shop aren’t the same as on polish shop. Can I manage would which categories be visible on shop according to choose language ?
Yes, you can create some products in language A and others only in language B (in other words, you don’t translate these products, you just create separate ones). And yes, you can create two separate sets of product categories for these two languages.
I’m looking to build a multilingual website on the WP platform, would like to know how many languages are supported, and also interested in the license of the plugin.
At some point, the same website content will be published on Android/iOS.
Hello, if you are interested in machine translations, here’s the list: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
If you want to add your translations, you can use any language.
Hello,
we don’t provide any discounts except the discount for existing customers who would like to renew their subscription for the next year. You can see the price in this table: https://wpml.org/purchase/ (see Account renewal per year)
I am trying to purchase the Multilingual CMS package but keep getting an error “unable to verify captcha” and it won’t let me proceed with the purchase. How do I get round this?
Hi, how is your licensing work? is it by domain or we just buy, download plugin then we can add on any wordpress site? Because I will have 1 production site, 1 live site, and 1 testing & development site.
You can use WPML purchased with the 1-site package both for your production and your staging site(s). But please note that this package won’t let you register multiple domains at once but registration is required only to receive automatic updates directly from your WP dashboard. You can always unregister one of these sites (for the moment you need to perform the update) and register again.
So please do the following:
1. Buy the 1-site package
2. Go to your WPML account
3. Register your test domain
4. Install WPML plugin(s)
5. Finish all your changes.
6. Go to your WPML account again, unregister the domain. Register the new one (production).
WPML plugins will work on both sites but only the one which is currently registered will receive updates.
You can register and unregister your sites as many times as you want.

Hello,
WPML doesn’t translate the whole website automatically. We are working on this “feature” but for now, you need to pick the pages you need to translate and “send” them to our ATE editor as explained in this video: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
Here are the supported languages:
https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
But if you don’t need to use machine translations, you can add any language but in this case, you need to provide translations.
Hi,

Hi Dess,
I don’t think you can do this, but let me double check with the tech team and get back to you.

Hello Dessislava,
If you want to send several pages to translation at once, you can easily achieve that following this tutorial. But yes, you would need to select which content you are intending to translate:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatically-translating-multiple-translation-jobs-in-bulk/
On the other hand, you can have an estimate of how much it would cost to translate your site according to our ATE subscriptions here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
Regards
A small addition to my previous comment – so can we have the following for site.com:
site.bg
site.com/ro
site.com/de
Thank you again!
Hi, I have the plugin on our webshop, and now I found an error in the way the products are translated. Hello Michella,
I’m not sure to understand the issue and what is different now. If I understand correctly, your API used to work when using manual translation, so it may be related to ATE.
However, as you are using a custom API we are limited in terms of support as it is considered custom code.
At this point, we would need more details and probably login into your site to understand your situation better, however, we can’t guarantee a solution for you.

some of our users use it but there might be issues, for example:

Best regards,
Nikola
Hello Nikola, you will need the Multilingual CMS package. All the plugins you listed will be there. Yes, using the WPML Media is optional.
Hello, i was wondering if wpml is compatible with brikk wordpress theme, within all pages and woocommerce page.
and what will i need?
Hello,
here’s the list of all themes that have been tested by our Compatibility Team:
https://wpml.org/theme/
Unfortunately, the Brikk theme is not there but it can still work fine. We simply don’t know. You can check it yourself and keep our refund policy in mind Yes, WPML works very well with WooCommerce.
Hello

Hi,
I am trying to purchase the Multilingual CMS package but keep getting an error “unable to verify captcha” and it won’t let me proceed with the purchase. How do I get round this?
Thanks,
Theo
Hello Theo,
It shouold work well. Can you try clearing your cache and cookies or from a different browser?
Let me know how it goes.
