Hello,
1. Your previously translated posts will remain on your site.
2. You won’t be able to automatically translate your posts but you can still translate your posts manually.
It’s your WordPress site’s database. If by a translator you mean a human, yes, your site’s users can access translated posts even if your WPML subscription expired. But if by a translator you mean a different translation engine, I don’t think other plugins will see your translated posts the same way as WPML does, each translation plugin works differently.
Hello,
please ignore my previous reply about WPML’s compatibility – I sent it to you by mistake.
I can see your WPML subscription is still active and I have notified the person who handles refunds to check your refund request and see what we can do. We will keep you posted.
I have 2 questions to seek your advice before I purchase WPML plugin.
Please kindly refer to the below.
1. Is WPML plugin work with YITH Add to Quote plugin? I need the Add to Quote plugin text like “Add to Quote” display in English and in Chinese language when switch the language to Chinese from English.
2. WPML plugin can work with Woocommerce? For example, like “Add to cart”. “Proceed to Payment” will change to Chinese language user switch to Chinese language.
hello, my blog is built on a subdomain. When buying your 1-site plug-in license, how should I register: with the core domain address or with the subdomain address? thank you
Hi,
I have a multi-language website and there are Polylang plugins installs for support multi-language and the site is built with woo-commerce. Now I am creating one more site in woo-commerce but my theme supports WPML so I want to use WPML on my new site.
After I purchase and install WPML on the new site then is it possible to import the products from my other site to this new site with products automatically translated?
I do not want to translate products again. So if I use WPML then it will supports with import translated products?
Please update me ASAP so after I confirm, I will purchase WPML and will use on my site.
Hello,
we have a Polylang to WPML migration plugin and you might want to try this one: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/migrate-polylang-wpml/
but I’m not sure how it will work with Products. I mean, if the translation of your production can be migrated too. Let me consult this with the developer of this plugin and I will let you know.
I think you did not get what I was trying to ask.
1) If i purchase wpml and dont renew it can I still translate the posts in other language?
2) and if some how I delete the plugin do all the translated posts gets deleted? if yes, is there any way to get deleted posts back?
3) can i change the whole slug of translated posts in entry level of package ie. for $29 and can i create seperate meta data and do seperate seo for translated posts as well?
1. Yes, but only manually (you cannot use automatic/machine translations)
2. not, the translations (posts etc) won’t be deleted, you need to deleted them manually from within your WordPress as you would do for regular pages/posts
3. you can manually change the slug of translated posts (also in the $29 version) but to use WPML with SEO plugins (which allow you to translate meta data) the Blog version won’t suffice and you need the CMS package
Hello!
I did not find any purchase with similar details to the ones you left here.
Do you have the invoice ID? You will find it in the Payment receipt as WPML-xxxxxxx
We are looking at using this plugin for a new website for an existing client. But we want to know if it works with WP Bakery in translation textual content, automatically, or if we (or our client) has to edit every single word?
Hello,
I’m contacting you directly to sort this out. Please expect an email from Agnes Bury – I will use the email address you posted your comment with.
Hi, my client has a pro account and paying for auto translations, he has received invoices from you but when trying to login and reset password says account not found, with the email you have sent the invoices to. Please help
Hello Kate,
please let us know:
a) what is your client’s email
b) what page does he use to reset the password
we will check the details and get back to you. If you don’t want to share your client emails via comments, please contact us directly via this form: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
I develop on localhost, then I copy the wordpress site with wpml to a project site for my customer to see whats done.
I have to do these steps a few times.
After all is fine I install the final site on the Customer domain.
Now I work for two different customers.
So my question:
is the “multilingual CMS” license O.K. or do I have to buy the “multilangual Agency” License.
Hi there,
Does WPML have a limit on number of languages per site?
Which API does WPML use for translations?
Is it possible to have a language switcher dropdown option?
Thank you for getting back to me!
What I meant by “Which API does WPML use for translations?” was… does your machine learning translations use Google Translate, DeepL, or another API?
This is not really a real pre-sale question, but something related to problems to activate the WPML license. Initially, one year ago, someone from support had to intervene to make it work. Now, one year later, the time came to nenew and again I’m unable to activate the license, therefore I can again no longer use WPML…
Could someone fix this once for all ?

ps: Yes I have an opened ticket for that: “Home › Support › English Support › [Assigned] A key is not working but supposed to be active until August 2022” ##9524451
Hello Gaston,
I see you have a lifetime subscription registered with this email address. You should be able to get access normally if your site is well registered. Can you try clicking the button “Check for updates”? You will find it in the wp-admin> plugins> add new> tab Commercial. If this doesn’t work please try to unregister and register your site again.
Related to my previous message, since I’m at the beginning of a new period, if support has a problem to fix it, would it be faster to just cancel the license and buy another one ? I’m asking because I’m stuck now on a production site.
As I told you, it doesn’t work. A ticket is opened. Support has all pictures related to that situation. As documented, support has to interven directly to make it work last year, and samething is happening this time, except that there is no answer from support.
I find it hard to explain to my customer that the product I recommended to them does not have good support.
Possibly a dumb question, but I purchased the yearly subscription already. However, when I began to learn to use the program, it seemed to indicate that there is actually an additional monthly fee depending on the amount of words used (translated). I understand there i a credit of 2,000 words per month for free, but a charge thereafter. My site has just under 120,000 words, thus, I saw that I would be charged from $17-$72/monthly to have the pages translated.
I just need to clarify, if I translate all 120,000 words now (and pay the $17-$72), would that be getting charged every month? Or is that a one time payment and only new submissions would count towards the monthly bill? If I have to submit all words every month, what happens if I do not submit the same pages? Would they no longer be translated?
Hello Robert,
once applied, we save the automatic translations in your database and you are charged only when your content gets translated for the first time. Then, you might need to spend some credits again too but only occasionally for example, when you update something in your original content and these updates need to be translated again. In this case, credits are used only for the sentences that have changed. Plus nothing happens automatically, you need to perform an action first so everything is under your control. Let’s say, you translated your site and then after a week, you decided to change your original page X and page Y. Then WPML will indicate with an icon that translations of these pages require an update. You then need to open these pages for translation again and depending on your settings in the editor you need to either press “translate automatically” or it will automatically translate your changed sentences the moment you open it in the editor.
With WPML 4.5 coming soon we will have a new mode (to be used optionally): translate everything. When enabled, you won’t need to perform any explicit action when your content changes. WPML will update the automatic translation for you automatically.
Hello Rohan,
no, we don’t provide a free version but you can buy WPML keeping our refund policy in mind which allows you to test it for 30 days without any risk. You can even ask questions on our support forum during these 30 days. Feel free to ask me any pre-sales questions you might have.
I followed the steps from here https://wpml.org/purchase/how-to-change-your-payment-method/ , to the point where I choose credit card/ paypal (which is actually the same option as previously), but I still can’t find/open/update the credit card; once I hit “change” it keeps sending me to PayPal, which I don’t need.
Hello,
can you please let us know what exactly you want to do? Is PayPal your current payment method and do you want to change it to use a credit card?
what will happen to my previously translated posts?
1) If my licence expires, or I choose not to use wpml
2) if wpml permanently stops this features to translate the we site
Where can I get the access to translated database? Can I used translated database with other translator?
Hello,

I think I accidentally pressed the refund button during production yesterday, so please cancel the refund.

We don’t charge per language, but per the number of sites to register WPML

You don’t need to pay anu further amount since you have a lifetime subscription.
is there a language code for switzerland like french switzerland and german switzerland already in the package??
thank you for your answer
We don’t have these language versions by default but you can easily add them manually
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
For future renewals of the plugin, our agency procurement division is asking for a W-8. Do you you have a recent W-8 that you could provide us with?

Hello,
I found your ticket:

I’m gonna contact both the supporter and our admins specializing in keys directly to ask them for help. I cannot see any reason why problems with keys couldn’t be resolved.

HI,
I need to update the credit card details.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Corina
Hello,
can you please let us know what exactly you want to do? Is PayPal your current payment method and do you want to change it to use a credit card?
Hello, please deactivate the auto renewal of my license.
Thank you
Hello, you need to do it yourself. Please log into your WPML account and you will see the Cancel Subscription link in your panel.
