  1. Hello dear responsable, how are you?

    We need to make a purchase at your website but first of all we should make registration at my system.

    We’d like to know which is company registration that will appear at invoice issued from site?

    We will need:
    -Company name
    -Address
    -Country
    -Tax Id or Vat Number or EIN (the most important information)

    Is it possible to return with these informations by e-mail?

    Thanks in advanced.

  2. Buenas tardes,
    Debemos incorporar una lista de 20.000 productos en Woocommerce donde sus nombres son en Inglés y queremos traducirlos al Español.
    Al ser una cantidad tan grande, el pluying traducirá todo? Como sería su funcionamiento y precios?
    Un saludo

  3. Hi, I wonder if there are pre-built translations for popular plugins and themes? If so, does that require additional payments or it’s included with WPML CMS?

    It’s pretty exhausting to translate almost 35 plugins and a theme that are being used by thousands of people with the same language and already done translations.

    Sorry if this is something basic but I’m new to multilingual sites and WPML.

    • Hello Mahmoud,
      Do you plan to make your site multilingual (meaning available in at least two languages)? Or you only want to translate your plugins/theme to your language? You need WPML only for the first option (multilingual) site. Each theme and plugin includes translation files with translations to other languages. These are called po/mo files. Please let me know what is your goal? To have a multilingual site or only to translate your plugins/themes.

  5. Hello! I am interested in your plugin but first I would like to make sure that the plugin adapts to the needs of the project. Do you have a trial version of the plugin? Since I will need the Mandarin (simplified) and Tagalog language

    • Hello,
      we don’t have any free trial but our refund policy allows to test WPML for 30 days. If you are interested in machine translations, here’s the list of supported languages: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs I cannot see Mandarin and Tagalog languages (only Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)) there so the only way to translate your site to these two languages would be to add them as custom languages and translate manually or to choose Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

  6. Do I need another license key for staging sites and localhost?

    I’d like to buy WPML Blog license, and noticed that the license can be registered on one and only one site.

    So, I’d like to know how can I test on dev sites after purchasing WPML Blog. Can I register dev sites or do I have to purchase another license?

    For example, on the website of PolyLang, I found that I can test on localhost sites and dev sites with domain names like these:

    https://polylang.pro/doc/do-i-need-another-license-key-for-staging-sites-and-localhost/

    Does WPML have similar whitelist?

  7. I have a question: Can the translations (with free WPML) share the same slug in the URL? I mean like:
    (main language) mysite.gr/travelpage
    and

    (language translation): mysite.gr/en/travelpage.

    I am using another plugin now, but it shows me like:
    mysite.gr/en/travelpage-2

    I don’t want the “-2” in the translated URL.
    Thanks,

    • Hello,
      I’m not sure what you mean by “pro”. All WPML plugins are paid. We offer three kinds of packages: https://wpml.org/purchase/
      The cheapest version is called “Multilingual Blog” doesn’t allow you to translate automatically but it allows you to create URLs with the same slugs for other languages.

  8. Thanks Agnes for your reply.
    Yes I want to have a multilingual website (show my website in two languages) and I wanted to know if for example I’m going to offer English and French version of my site, now the default is English and my site consists of a theme plus 20 plugins, do I have to translate all of them one by one to French or are there ready translations for the most popular plugins and themes somewhere within WPML?

    • Hello Mahmoud,
      Thank you for your details. How you translate a plugin depends on the plugin and what it does. For example, if you have a plugin that displays a form, you need to translate your form labels because it is likely that you will have labels and descriptions unique for your site (e.g. “What is your age? Where do you live”). If your plugin is a page builder (Elementor, Divi, etc.) you need to translate the content that you build using the plugin, not the strings from the plugin, and again the content will be different for each site. If you use an SEO plugin, again, the meta description you provide will be different for each site. In most cases, nobody translates the strings of the plugin that appear on the backend (in your WP admin). Everyone focuses on translating the front-end, what is visible for visitors. The popular plugins are already translated to many languages, for example, the famous WooCoomerce plugin. So in practice, you don’t need to translate everything from your plugins themselves but the unique content you will create using this plugin. I hope it helps.

  9. Hello,
    We would like to buy/use your plugin/services and wonder if you could provide a promo code for a discount down to $79 for the Multilingual CMS option.
    Sadly, we just missed the deals. If you’re able to, please send the code via mail.

    • Hello Artur,
      what do you mean by “we just missed the deals.” If you are a WPML client and are a few days late to renew your WPML subscription to use the discount price, we can fix it for you. But if you are new to WPML please be informed that we don’t have any special deals for new clients.

    • Hello,
      Thank you for your interest in WPML. We don’t provide a 5-year free updates licence. If you need constant access to updates you need to pay each year. When you visit this page: https://wpml.org/purchase/ you will see the renewal price in the “Account renewal per year” row.

  10. The invoice you provided contains the VAT code. In which European Union country is this VAT registered: VAT number: EU196000846? I have to provide this information to my accountant.

  11. Hi there.
    We are currently using a translation plugin that apparently, do not work with WP_Query.
    In other words, we need to get posts from different languages using WP_Query like this :

    $the_query = new WP_Query(array(
    ‘post_type’ => ‘post’,
    ‘posts_per_page’ => 1,
    ‘orderby’ => ‘date’,
    ‘suppress_filters’ => 1,
    ‘lang’ => ‘es’
    ));

    And the result is always posts in english.
    This is why we are considering moving to another translation plugin.
    Does WPML works with WP_Query?

    Thanks in advance.

  12. Hi again, one more question.
    Is WPML compatible with Yoast?
    In other words, can I get different lanuage translations for, for example, the meta description that Yoast provides?

    Thanks in advance.

  13. I don’t see this WPML in the WordPress plugins? How will that work as far as installation? I would want to go with the $79 Multilingual CMS option. Also, on your site it has a drop down option for countries, but I don’t see U.S. on there. Are those the service areas?

  14. Hi,
    He are currently using a translation plugin, and thinking about buying wpml because our current plugin, aparently does not support translations from WP_Queries. In other words, when we search for posts in spanish like this :

    $the_query = new WP_Query(array(
    ‘post_type’ => ‘post’,
    ‘posts_per_page’ => 1,
    ‘orderby’ => ‘date’,
    ‘suppress_filters’ => 1,
    ‘lang’ => ‘es’
    ));

    we get posts in enlglish only.
    Does WMPL supports translations from WP_Query?

    My other question, is if, WPML is compatible with Yoast plugin, in other words, does it support meta description translations?
    Thanks!

    • Hello Bruno,
      your previous question was awaiting moderation. I have just replied. Yes, WPML is compatible with the Yoast plugin and it supports meta description translations.

    • Hello,
      Yes, you can pay with your credit card directly by selecting Alternative payment method at checkout.

      Let me know how it goes.

    • Hello,
      Yes, you can use your credit card. On the “checkout” page you will see a link entitled “Use a different payment processor” (at the bottom of the page, under the orange button). Please click on it.

  15. Hello,

    I want to know about the VAT number: EU196000846 you provided in the invoice.

    Your company probably using EU-MOSS VAT number ( see the link: https://bit.ly/3I9a7Nj) in Europe region.

    Once you have registered your VAT number for EU, you had to designate a member state of identification ( see the link: https://bit.ly/31gzNXs ).

    I need to know what country it is, to give this information for my accountant.
