  1. Bonjour ,

    Merci

    • Bonjour, merci d’utiliser WPML.

      https://calendly.com/wpml-feedback/

Mais je ne parle pas français.

  3. Hello!
Yesterday we paid for WPML Multilingual CMS. On the card from which the payment is made, there is authentication (must, before withdrawal of funds to receive a code that must be entered. And only after entering this code must be written off). For this reason our financiers have a question. Why the funds were written off without confirmation.
I ask you to unlink the card (which was used for payment) to WPML account or suggest how to do it. We do not want to bind the card for automatic debit.
In the personal cabinet did not find how to check it. But in the tab: Change payment method, as I understand it stored data on the card.
    Please reply to our e-mail.

    • Hello Maryna,
      thank you for purchasing WPML.
When you buy WPML, you subscribe to automatic (yearly) renewals. These renewals are optional and you can switch to manual renewals if you want. To do so, please log into your WPML account and from there Switch to automatic renewals. The detailed steps are explained here:
      https://wpml.org/purchase/wpml-renewal/
please expand the How can I check and change the automatic renewal option? section in FAQ at the bottom of the page.

  4. Hi, will WPML autotranslate the text that is in single page template. I mean in PHP file not in page content when u go to wordpress admin and just type text in WYSIWYG

    • Hello Sara,
it depends on how his template has been built. If this is something you created with custom coding, you can translate it only manually. But WPML can translate different templates automatically too, for example from Elementor, Toolset or even some WordPress templates (Full Site Editing).

  5. Thank you, I found how to turn off the automatic renewal.
After selecting “Instead of automatic renewal, I want to renew manually” clicked “Keep the renewal”.
I understand correctly, now for further renewal will be manually (not automatically)?

  6. We are an non-profitorganisation ? Can we have a special price? See extrasupport.be
We made a site for non-profits on cossa.net and verenigingen.net and need multilanguage…
    Thanks

  7. I have three websites, previously registered with an individual who no longer works at our company. Login and passwords do not work. We may have had this since 2011 and I’m having issues.

    sdctech.com
    fsicti.com
    clearchoice-coatings.com

    • Hello Cheryl,

I don’t know what kind of issues you are having. If your site sufferered due to the conflict fo WPML and WordPress 6.1. updating WPML plugins to the most recent version (4.5.12 for the core plugin and to 3.2.3 for the String Translation plugin) should help.

      You have two options:

      1. Since your sites are still registered you can go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial and update your WPML plugins to the recent version after clicking the Check for update button.
      2. You can buy WPML with your own email and simply re-register your sites with your own keys. This way you will get access to our support forum. To do so please:

      1. Purchase the Multilingual CMS package
      2. After buying WPML, please on your WP site go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab and unregister the site. Then register it again with your own key.

  8. Hi,

    2 questions:

    1. Is WPML still not fully compatible with Soffly Oxygen Builder? https://oxygenbuilder.com/

    2. We looking for a translation plugin where we would still be able to output the translated data for products to merchants like Amazon.
For example, we can’t use Gtranslate or WeGlot, because then we are not able to push the translated variants of the products over to our merchants. Gtranslate and WeGlot host the tranlated product data on their own servers, so this data is not available for the merchants through API connected to our webshop. Does WMPL has the same issue?

    Looking forward to a reply.

    Regards

  9. Hello WPML Support,

We are currently developing a new website for our client on the eurekaweek.com domain. This website needs to be multilingual, just as the old website on the domain eurekarotterdam.com. On the old website WPML was used with a Lifetime account, and we want to use this account on the new website as well. Unfortunately our client does not know their account details anymore. The account was probably registered with an email address that is not being used anymore.

Is it possible by using the old website with the registered WPML Lifetime account to change the email address and then transfer the license to the new website?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Regards,
    Thomas

    • Hello,
I found the details of your client. They can reset the password if they don’t remember it. Please tell them that they used an email from the fijnbesnaard.nl domain.
They need to change their email themselves directly on their WPML account or they need to contact us from that email address (the email address they used when they bought WPML) to ask us to change their email address. They can send us an email to hello (at) wpml.org. We cannot change someone else’s email address based on a comment. I hope you understand.

  10. Do you have a support team? I just purchased a package and my site is not working and I expected that at least I can have chat support.
If it’s not possible, please let me know because in that case, I prefer deleting the plugins and ask for a refund.

  11. Hello,

I see you offer chinese language as an option. There are 2 types of chinese characters. 1) simplified and 2) traditional. We are looking for traditional characters, but I cannot understand if you offer this.

    Thank you

  12. Hello,

I have a few questions before I purchase.

    1. Our website is currently using another (free) translation plugin that we are not happy with. Is it better to uninstall it before we add WPML?
    2. Our website is in English and will be translated into Icelandic. However, the content will not all be the same in both languages. Is it correctly understood that I would be able to add pages and blog posts that only appear in the Icelandic version, even though the main language will be English?
    3. We will be using WeCommerce and setting up a membership login page. Is it best to purchase the Multilingual CMS? We will only be using our license for this one website.
    4. I read somewhere that it would be necessary to take a backup of the page before installing WPML – is that true?

    Best,
    Guðný

    • Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
      1. Yes, or at least deactivate
      2. Yes, you can do so.
      3. Yes, you do need the CMS package for a WooCommerce site.
      4. Yes or it’s better to try it out on a copy if your site is actively used by clients.

  13. Hi, I need to update my credit card details because the current card expires soon. When I use the “change payment method” I can apparently only change to paypal. But I want to stick to my credit card and update it.

  14. Hi! I’m the new admin of Inmourban.com and your plugin was installed by the last admin but a free version. I want to pay the license to update the plugin to the last version but I don’t know what version I need. Could you help me? I can see installed this:

    -WPML Media
    -WPML Multilingual CMS
    -WPML String Translation

I will be waiting your reply.
    Best regards.

    Santiago

    • Hello Santiago,
WPML is a paid plugin and we don’t provide a free version. You need to buy the Multilingual CMS package ($99). After buying it, please go to your WordPress site, Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab (if you don’t see the commercial tab make sure the WPML Multilligual CMS plugin is active) and register your site. It will ask you to log into your wpml.org (you will receive the credentials via email after purchasing WPML). As soon as your site is registered you will be able to update WPML plugins to the most recent version. I don’t know which version your site uses now. If it uses a very old version you might need to upgrade your site gradually as explained in this forum thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/update-from-old-version/

    • Hello,
the user with the email you provided used to have the Agency type of account with a few websites registered. That account expired last year (November 26, 2021), which means that all the WPML sites that were registered with that person’s account can still use WPML but without access to updates. WordPress 6.1 introduced a conflict with WPML and practically it’s impossible to use WPML with WP 6.1 without updating it to the recent version (4.5.13). If your site uses WPML, please buy it (you will need the Multilingual CMS package) and register it with your own key. To register your site please go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab. If you don’t see the Commercial tab, please actvate the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin.

  15. Hello,

I have a question regarding plans, would it be possible to buy the String Translation module as well (I already have the Multilingual Blog plan), and if yes, how much would it cost?

On the pricing section I just see the Multilingual Blog plan (the one I have), and the Multilingual CMS that has many things that I would not use such as ecommerce features, so it does not justify the price.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    • Hello,
the Multilingual Blog and WPML Multilingual CMS packages work differently. The String Translation plugin is meant to be used with WPML plugin purchased as Multilingual CMS (not Blog). If you need the functionality of the String Translation plugin you need to upgrade from the Blog type of account to the CMS type of account and then install the String Translation plugin. We don’t sell the Staring Translation plugin separately. The only way to get access to it is buy the Multulingual CMS package.

  16. If you have a lifetime subscription, can you use Pay-as-you-go for translations?
I dont see the option to turn it on. When i go to WPML -> Translation Managment. There is no “Automatic Translation” tab with the button “Activate PAY-AS-YOU-GO” as there should be when i look at the video on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP0EH_nMy0k&t=18s

Do i have to buy another subscription to make it work?

  17. Hi
My subscription has expired and I want to use “activate pay as you go”
I don’t have pending invoices but when I try to “activate pay as you go” => card the card was declined

    • Hello,
there are two kinds of subscriptions:
      a) for WPML plugins – this one expired for you
      b) for credits
I’m not sure which one you are referring too.
Please make sure you have your WPML subscription is active and then open a ticket on our support forum for the issue with credits.
If you cannot pay by card you can use PayPal. Other translations are going through normally so the issue with the card seems to be on your end.

  18. Hi,

To how many words do correspond the 90,000 automatic translation credits ?

And I need more : how much does it cost ?

    Thanks

  19. Dear friends,

I’d like to know if in the multilingual blog option purchase is included the WPML String Translation plugin. Or is it only included on the Multilingual CMS option?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

    • Hello, yes, the WPML String Translation plugin is available only in the Multilingual CMS package. You can upgrade from the Blog package to the CMS from your wpml.org account for the difference in purchase price if your Blog subscription is still active.

  20. Hi, we are a non-for-profit organization from Spain that produces podcasts for social impact.
We would like to know if you have special prices for non-profits.

    Thanks!
    Martín

    • Hello,
if this is a WordPress Multisite website yes, you need to register only the top domain. So you will need only one registration key.
