I am experiencing an issue with the language menu on my WordPress site using WPML. When logged in as an instructor and visiting another instructor's page, switching the language redirects to my own biography page instead of the selected instructor's page in the new language. hidden link When logged in as a student and viewing an instructor's biography, switching the language opens a blank instructor page. hidden link

Language switch redirects to the user's own biography page or opens a blank page instead of the intended instructor's page.

How can we resolve the issue of the language switch redirecting to the user's own biography page?
How can we fix the problem of the language switch opening a blank instructor page when logged in as a student?
1) Take a full backup of your site and database before proceeding.
2) Deactivate all plugins except WPML, String Translation and the more relevant plugins needed for this.
3) Switch to a standard theme like 2024.
4) Check for the issue if it still happens.
5) Then start activating plugins one by one while keep checking for the issue. This way you 'll be able to pinpoint a conflict when & where it starts creating the problem.
6) If after activating all plugins you see that it still works fine, then switch to your theme and see if that's causing it.
