Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the shopping cart page on my website. When I change the language, the product description should update accordingly. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
When I change the language on the shopping cart page, the product description stays in the same language until I refresh the page. The same issue occurs when switching back to the previous language.

Questions:
Why does the product description not update immediately when changing the language?
How can I ensure the product description updates without refreshing the page?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us

1) If possible I would advise creating a staging site and checking if the issue still happens when using the WP default theme and only WPML plugins and aWocommerce are active, all others are disabled.

2) Check if you have any caching or hosting caching system that might be causing this, usually, cart pages should not be cached.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

Hi, the problem still exists. We created a new site and didn't install anything except WPML and WooCommerce.

We use the WooCommerce cart block.

Hello,

I am afraid not, I will update as soon as there is some news.

In the meantime, you can try using Wocommerce shortcodes and not blocks to see if it works like that, please check next errata:

Please note I will be mostly OFF during the holidays, so my replies might not be prompt, if you need any further info please open a chat and one of my colleagues will be glad to help with any doubts.

Regards,
Drazen

Hey Drazen
Thanks for the feedback. Sad to see that after months nothing happens. Blocks are the new default from WooCommerce so that should be a top priority for WPML
