Hello. I just changed the URL for my development site to make it live, and updated my WPML key accordingly.
Everything seems to work ok for me, but my translator colleague is having problems. When he clicks on the translate button (pencil icon) he is taken to the translation queue rather than the translation editor.
Can you suggest how we can sort this? Thanks.

Hello,

please try the next steps:

1) Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting, Try to click the 2 options about "ATE", please check image attached.

2) Try to go to WPML > Translation Management, send the job for translation, and let's see if it works this time.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

I have tried this and it has made no difference.

On the Pages screen:
- when I click on a pencil icon I am taken to the Translation Editor, as expected
- when my colleague clicks on a pencil icon he is taken to the translation queue

What should he do in order to edit the translations?

Thanks

Hi Brian,

It looks like your translator is not an administrator. Then he can take jobs that are assigned to him. Please follow steps below to assign the job to him.

1. Go to WPML > Translation Management > Jobs tab > Cancel the job.

2. Go to WPML > Translation Management > Select the page > Add to Translation Basket.

3. In the Basket, you can choose that translator or select "First available" and send to translation. Please check this screenshot hidden link

The translator should go to WPML > Translations to take the job and translate it.

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
