Problem: The client wanted to use WPML's Translate Everything option to automatically translate their site, starting with the newest posts and those queued for future publishing. However, they encountered issues with random translation order and high resource usage. Solution: 1. We advised the client to deselect the Translate Everything option to manually select which content to send for translation via the WPML -> Translation Management dashboard. 2. If the client prefers to keep the Translate Everything option active but wants to exclude older posts from being translated automatically, they can set these posts to draft status. This ensures they are not sent for translation as long as the 'Don't translate drafts. Only translate when I publish content.' setting is active. 3. For further customization, such as excluding certain post types from translation, the client can adjust settings in WPML -> Settings -> Post Types Translation. 4. We clarified that the automatic translation process, even for large sites, should complete within a few hours, and setting priorities on what to translate first is currently not supported.
