How can I add String Translation to my site?

You can install String Translation from the Commercial tab in your WordPress admin, or from WPML’s Downloads page.

String Translation is only available for Multilingual CMS and Multilingual Agency plans. If you own a Multilingual Blog plan, you’ll need to upgrade your account.

How can I install String Translation from the Commercial tab?

To install String Translation from the Commercial tab:

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab.
  2. Select the String Translation plugin and check Activate after download.
  3. Click Download to install.

How can I install String Translation from the Downloads page?

To install String Translation from the Downloads page:

  1. Go to the Downloads page.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click Download WPML manually.
  3. Scroll down to String Translation and download the plugin.

  1. Next, in your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add new.
  2. Upload and activate the String Translation file.
