Problem:
The client is experiencing issues where changes made to content blocks in French do not appear on the translated versions of the product pages. The newly created translated content blocks are not updating correctly across different languages.
Solution:
First, ensure that the custom fields in the translation settings are set to be copied with each translation update, not just once. This setting allows WPML to replace the content in the correct language internally. If the content block updates correctly in one language (e.g., English), you should re-save the translation for other products displaying the incorrect content block, and WPML will handle the rest. Clear your site's cache after these updates.
If you do not see all your products in the translation dashboard, it might be due to the 'Unfinished' filter being applied. You can trigger WPML to change the translation status to 'needs update' by making a minor modification to the product and then re-saving the translation. For mass updates, you can modify and re-save all products in bulk, which should trigger the translation status change.
Remember, do not modify translations using the WordPress editor on the product page. Instead, use the WPML Translation Editor (ATE) by clicking the sign shown here: https://prnt.sc/UUuYB2BEzPJq. This will open the translation editor for one page at a time, where you can re-save or modify the translation so that the new block is copied.
