I am trying to fix links that point to the main language on translated website versions. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expected to see the link hidden link instead of hidden link in the text corpus, and hidden link instead of hidden link in the account button.
I also tried the function "Translate Link Targets" in WPML > Settings.

I am getting wrong links that point to the main language instead of the translated versions.

Why are the links pointing to the main language instead of the translated versions?
How can I fix the links to point to the correct translated pages?

Thanks for your reply. It looks like RankMath is causing the issue with the broken links. You need to check on that. As for the links on the contact us page, it works now hidden link after changing the slug here hidden link for the German language page.
Thanks for your reply. You need to check with Rank Math support to see what's causing this. It's probably some configuration that needs to be adjusted.
This is not rank math. The link targets are not translated.
So just to recap:
I disabled rank math then enabled it back and it fixed the bad link routing (links in menu) for translated languages..
Concerning the non-translated links on pages and category descriptions: these links were not translated. So I believe that the automatic translation can't handle it. Could maybe check with your team if all the link translation work?
There is the link replacement funciton in the plugin settings. Could you extend the functions of this tool to check the strings and meta deta also, not only the blog posts?
Because what we are talking are links in individual pages (not blog posts) and links in woocommerce product category descriptions (this is taxonomy).
