Background of the issue:
Hi,
I am using latest WPML version 4.8 latest with your other modules.

WPML Media Translation version 3.0.0 latest
WPML Multilingual CMS version 4.8.0 latest
WPML SEO version 2.2.3 latest
WPML String translation 3.4.0 latest

+ Elementor PRO latest version
+ Ivory Search latest version - Search menu Ivory integration via code - integrated directly in menu (see French with Search flag)

Our development site is : hidden link
Only MINIMAL necessary plugins are ACTIVATED.

Source version is French and we are translating first in 1. English (now) and 2. in German (later).

I need help about the following issues :

- Translation of Elementor template is incomplete despite repeated efforts.
- Translation of top menu is incomplete - menu order is not kept despite synching
- A header with title in absolute position is not respected in other languages

Maybe a more general problem for menu
- I cannot get to translate all the elements of the menu - even if I try to go through translation.

Symptoms:
The translation of the Elementor template is incomplete.
A header in absolute position is not respected in other languages,
and the translation of the top menu is incomplete with the menu order not kept despite syncing.
Search integration in menu is lost

Questions:
How do I get a complete translation of the Elementor template, in this case the site header including menu and images ?

How do I get a complete translation of the menu?
Is there an automatic way to translate the menu?
How can I translate all the elements of the menu?

How can I translate Search integration in menu ?

Hello,

About the menu:
The menu translation is not part of the template.

To translate the menus, you can use WPML > WP Menus Sync. This will automatically create the menus in each language, based on existing translations for pages, posts or taxonomies.

If you use custom menu items, then you will need to adjust them inside each menu directly at Appearance > Menus.

About the search:
Are you using a Shortcode to integrate the search into the template?

About the header:
Usually, translating the Elementor Header Template using the WPML Translation Editor should ensure the same layout and design in all translated languages.

Hi,

I have fixed the problem for the integration of Search form (Ivory plugin) in the top menu.

But not the translation of the word "recherche" inside the form. I am sure there is a solution.
Would that be an extra string translation?

What still remains is the translation of the main header-footer template of the home page.
The main title is not positioned like in the French source.

For me,
- The special admin login to WordPress for me is right - I checked it.
- The login to SSH to our server - this website part is right.

- The first screen when you arrive on the website is protected :

USER : visitor
Password : 54321?visit

With all these, you should have complete access.

Hi Andreas,

I re checked the accesses.

Not sure which one was wrong, but I checked the FTP, and it works now
under the username and password, I already gave you.

Small but important detail... it needs SFTP -SSH protocol
I use it with FileZilla program.

Once connected, please go to folder: staging20.uvi-staging-2025.gvatec.ch

Be careful as the others are other websites.

Thank you for your message and confirming that the SFT access works. This access is only needed for accessing the server. I am trying to access the backend of the website.

I need access to WordPress, to be able to review the site with an admin account. When trying to log into WordPress, I get:
