Getting started with Euro:Text and WPML

To send content for translation to Euro:Text, install the following plugins on your website:

  • WPML Multilingual CMS – the core plugin
  • WPML String Translation – this plugin will allow you to translate interface strings

You can download them from your wpml.org account. If you do not have an account yet, you can create a new one by choosing WPML Multilingual CMS or Multilingual Agency plans.

Working with Euro:Text via WPML

Here are the basic steps of working with WPML and Euro:Text. For a full walkthrough, check out our page about using WPML with a translation service.

Connecting Your Website to Euro:Text

First, you need to connect WPML with Euro:Text. Part of this very simple process is to request your Euro:Text API token.

Fill in the API Token request form to receive your token. With the token you can finish setting up the account in WPML.

Sending content for translation

Once your site is connected to Euro:Text, you can start sending your content for translation.

Receive a quotation from Euro:Text

After receiving the translation content from you, EuroText will prepare and submit a quote indicating their terms and conditions of business. As soon as you authorize the job, translations will get started.

Receiving completed translations

Once done, your site is ready to receive completed translations.

Canceling translation jobs

Projects can only be canceled by EuroText.

If you want to cancel a translation job that is underway, please contact EuroText. They will inform you about the current status of the job and the steps to follow.

Translating the Rest of Your Site
