I worked on editing the Home page in Serbian, which had an English translation. After I finished editing I wanted to do the same on the English version of the Home page. When I clicked on editing via Elementor, the entire page returned to the original, Serbian language.

Can someone explain to me what this is all about?!

I want Mohamed Sayed to help me about this issue.

Hi,

First of all, sorry for the late reply due to a higher workload.

I checked the site but I can't see this issue, could you please check on another browser or let me if you managed to fix this issue?

Please check this recording: hidden link

Kind regards,
Mohamed

It's because I had to re-enter the English text...I don't know where I went wrong so that only my Home page is back to the original language.

Could you please tell me how did you create the translation?

Since the page is created with Elementor, the recommended way is to translate the page content with the WPML advanced translation editor. Please check this guide for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/

If you're trying to create a different design for the English page then you can use the manual translation method. In this case, you need to disable the WPML translation editor for this page as described here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation

I checked the homepage and the WPML translation editor is still enabled, please disable it by switching to the WordPress editor as seen in your recording. Then edit the English version and click the "Translate independently" button.

This will stop the post from being automatically syncing with the default language content.

Please create a full backup of the database and website then try this:

1. Edit any language where the translation editor is enabled
2. In the Language meta box, choose the WordPress Editor
3. In the pop-up dialog that appears, select "All Pages"
