Tell us what you are trying to do?
Today continued to translate several pages (after a pause of several weeks). Last time translation went as expected, but now selecting new pages to translate or even updating already translated pages results in an error.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
No, just the usual procedure from the pages list
Is there a similar example that we can see?
Don't know what you mean here.
What is the link to your site?
The development site is only accessible from the local LAN

The error messages are (in Dutch)

WPML is er niet in geslaagd om deze pagina te vertalen. Opnieuw proberen
Translated: WPML failed to translate this page. Please try again

WPML heeft deze pagina drie keer proberen te vertalen, maar dat is niet gelukt. Om hem te laten repareren, neem contact op met Ondersteuning van WPML
Translated: WPML tried to translate this page three times, but it failed. To have it fixed, please contact support at WPML.

It occurs on most pages I try to translate or update the translation (but not all). In the advanced translator error log it shows: ATE Server Communication | Forbidden

Hi there.

Thank you for the update.

This issue might be happening due to a recent update. Sorry for that.

Can you please let me know if you had the chance to try the steps mentioned at the URL below?

If that doesn't work, please also try this:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/ate-server-communication-forbidden-5/#post-11295981

or this:
https://wpml.org/errata/wpml-triggers-a-migration-notification-banner-even-when-the-site-hasnt-been-migrated/

If none of those will work, we have another thing that you can try.

One user reported that they fixed the issue with the following steps:

- Go to WPML > Translation Management
- Click on "Translators"
- Check if your user is defined as a translator. If not, please configure it again.

Please let me know how that goes and if you are now able to translate pages.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Dear Mihai,

Thank you. I tries all options and the last one helped for the page that was stuck. I deleted myself as translator and later added me again. I'll test the other pages in the next days and if there are no more errors I will mark this issue as resolved.
