Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate content on my site hidden link using WPML.

Symptoms:
The message 'Flagged for later' appears, and even after translating and saving, it persists, leaving the translation job incomplete.

Questions:
Why does it show 'Flagged for later'?
Why does the translation job remain incomplete even after saving?

Hi,

The option 'Flagged for later' is when you edit the translation in the Advanced Translation Editor. You can uncheck it. Please see the attached screenshot. You should then be able to complete the translation job.

Thanks, but what purpose does flagged for later serve? And why does it arbitrarily appear on a particular line?

Hi,

The purpose of this feature is to mark segments for later review. For example, if you are not sure about the translation and want to consult someone about it, you can check the 'Flagged for later' option. When this option is selected, it is not possible to finish the translation job to 100% complete. However, this option should not be chosen arbitrarily. The user must actively select it. It seems you are facing an undesired outcome with this option. Could you please provide me with access to your site and direct me to the translation job that I should check to identify this issue?

Hi

Unfortunately, I used the solution you provided to remove the flag and was able to complete the translation.

But, to provide more details, I selected to translate automatically, and one line was marked flagged for later.

Will reach out if it happens again.

I've also noticed that sometimes it says 98% or 99% complete on some pages, but I cannot find any untranslated text and when I click on save & complete, the job is completed.

The latest translation is this - hidden link (English - hidden link)

This did not happen previously with the older versions.

Today, I came across a similar issue with another page, this time 2 lines were flagged for later. Please see attached screenshot.

Hi,

I am sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

This issue has been escalated to our Advanced Translation Editor developers and will be fixed in upcoming versions. Meanwhile, as a workaround, please edit those translation jobs and unflag the flagged sections. We will update you here once the version with the fix is released.

For the hidden link">job, you mentioned that can not be completed, please see that it has one section that is marked as 'Updated content'. Please see the attached screenshot. If you click this section and then move on to the next section, it will change the color to green, and the job will be 100% completed.

I am unable to unflag it.

When I click to unflag and move to the next line, it goes back to Flagged again.

I've just realized that you mentioned in this ticket two different websites. hidden link and hidden link.
Are you having this problem on both of these websites?

I've checked, from our side, the translation into Malay of this URL:

And I was able to unflag the section and complete the job.
Please see the attached screenshot.
Is it ok now also on your side?
