Hi,
You shouldn’t edit the page manually while the WPML Translation Editor is active — as mentioned in the notice, doing so will cause the content to be lost.

Hi,
But I have a worning on the page. What I have to do to take off the worning?
Please review the link I shared before. The steps you’re following aren’t correct. Don’t edit the page directly — make sure to deactivate the WPML editor first, as explained in the guide.
Once this is done, the notice will disappear when you open the translated version directly.
Good morning,
The English page of my website displays the following message: Warning: the changes you are about to make will be lost. Unfortunately, I am unable to make any updates or changes, and I have an event coming up shortly. Is there anyone who can assist me in resolving this issue? Please, I need someone to resolve this for me. The warning is always there and cannot be removed.

Hi,
You’re seeing this warning because the workflow you’re using isn’t correct. Please avoid opening the page while the WPML Translation Editor is active in the right sidebar.
Instead, switch to the WordPress Editor first before accessing the page in another language — that’s all it takes to prevent the warning.
If you’d like, you can share temporary access credentials with me, and I’ll record a short video to show you the correct steps. However, please note that what you’re seeing isn’t an error — it’s just a warning letting you know that your changes will be overwritten if you continue using that workflow.

Please make sure to complete this step, as it also includes confirming that you have a backup and that you accept the disclaimer before we can proceed with your installation.
Additionally, please let me know the name of the page where the notice is still visible and confirm whether you’ve followed my instructions to deactivate the editor as described earlier.
