X Theme / Cornerstone - Certain Widgets are Untranslatable Using Advanced Translation Editor (ATE)

Overview of the issue

Several widgets in the X Theme / Cornerstone allow the insertion of other widgets, such as the Text widget. However, these nested widgets cannot be translated using WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor (ATE).  As a result, while a part of the content is available in ATE, the nested widgets remain untranslatable.

This issue affects a wide range of widgets, limiting the full translation of pages or portfolios created with them.

Workaround

This issue appears to be due to certain widgets operating as both “module” (container) and “node” (content) simultaneously. At this moment, we do not have a general workaround for this issue.
