Yoast SEO - "Title |" disappears when using the Automatic Translation

Overview of the issue

If you translate your site using WPML’s automatic translation, the %title% | will be removed from Yoast SEO metabox page translation.

Workaround

  1. Go to Dashboard → Pages.
  2. Click on the top bar language switcher and change the language.
  3. Open the translated page.
  4. Manually add the %title% | to the Yoast SEO metabox.
