WP 6.7: Translations Not Loaded for Give – Donation Plugin

Overview of the issue

The translation strings for Give fail to load in WordPress 6.7. This issue arises due to changes in the core WordPress load_plugin_textdomain function.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full site backup of your site before proceeding.

• Edit the …/wp-content/plugins/give/src/Helpers/Language.php file
• Look for line 25
• Replace:

  			unload_textdomain('give');
  

• With:

  			unload_textdomain('give', true);
