Overview of the issue
When updating your post translations using WP All Import and the WPML All Import add-on, images in the /uploads/ folder are not updated. Instead, a new image is added. This causes you to end with several instances of the same image.
Workaround
We don’t have a workaround yet. Our developers are aware of this situation and working on a fix for it.

Unfortunately, we don't have any development news. However, you can try this workaround. As you can see, we highly recommend you to try it first in your test site and make a full backup before proceeding.
