Background of the issue:
I have updated a blog post with new images and text. The default language is Czech and the text and new images show correctly - скрытая ссылка. The ENG translation was also updated with new text and images. Whilst text is showing correctly, the post in ENG still reverts to the old images, even though I deleted them from the media library. - скрытая ссылка (same issue in the German version). We deleted server cache, SuperChache in wp-admin and the media converter plugin owner who converts images from jpg to webp checked and there is no conflict with the plugin. All points to WPML.
Symptoms:
The ENG translation of the blog post shows old images instead of the updated ones, even though the text updates correctly. This issue persists despite clearing caches and checking for plugin conflicts.
Questions:
Why are the old images still showing in the ENG translation despite being deleted from the media library?
Is there a specific WPML setting that needs to be adjusted to ensure the updated images appear in the translated post?
