[Решено] Creating links correctly

Background of the issue:
I have just translated my site with WPML for the first time into Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Swedish in addition to the default language, English. I have a big 'shop now' button on my front page.

Symptoms:
The button is being translated correctly, but when clicking the button, I am being sent to /shop no matter which language I use. Ideally, I want French speaking users being sent to /shop/fr and Italian speaking users to shop/it etc., which is not the case right now.

Questions:
How do I work with my URLs to make sure that visitors are being redirected correctly?
