[Решено] Creating new languages

Background of the issue:
We are looking to add new languages to the website using WPML, considering that Italian is already set as the default and English has been manually translated over time. We would now like to add new languages using automatic translation and the glossary.

Symptoms:
We added French, but it didn’t work. Now we’ve tried with German, but same result. The plugin keeps telling us to map them first, but they should already be mapped, at least in theory.

Questions:
Why does WPML require the languages to be mapped if the “mapping” language is already selected?
