When the visitor clicks or hover the globe, all languages are shown in the dropdown, possibly excluding the current language. I use the Elementor template builder to build my header. An option for the dropdown could be a mega menu that is an Elementor section or similar, with WPML functionality so the flags lead to the corresponding page in the other language.
