Background of the issue:
I'm experiencing issues with internal links not being properly translated for some translated pages. The default language is Portuguese. I did translation from Portuguese to English and French. In some of the translated pages, the links are linking to the original Portuguese version instead of English and French. I already tried going to WPML -> Settings -> Translate Link Targets section and clicking on 'Scan now and adjust links' but without success. Also tried other things but also without success.
Symptoms:
Internal links on some translated pages are linking to the original Portuguese version instead of the translated English and French versions.
