Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that the footer copyright text and links to the privacy policy and terms of service remain in English. However, they have been converted to Spanish by WPML and are not editable. The issue can be seen on this page in the footer: 隐藏链接
Symptoms:
The footer copyright text and links to the privacy policy and terms of service appear in Spanish in the string translation editor for both the English and Spanish editing panels. Only the Spanish version is editable, and the English version is not.

Why is the English text not editable in WPML?
How can I revert the footer text and links back to English?
