Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the slugs for the custom post types (properties and agents) on my website 隐藏链接 using WPML. The option to translate slugs appears in WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation.
Symptoms:
When I enter the translations for the slugs and save, the fields become empty again and I get the warning:
"Properties slugs are set to be translated, but they are missing their translation."
I also tried to translate them using the Translation Dashboard, specifically the string:
"properties [wp_estate_url_rewrites]0 admin_texts_wp_estate_url_rewrites back-end"
This changes the links correctly, but when I try to open them, they return a 404 error.
Questions:
Why do the slug translation fields become empty after saving, and how can I correctly translate the properties and agents slugs without causing 404 errors?
