Background of the issue:
I am trying to change the language to Italian while on the English version of the site; selecting "IT" leads to the English language. On the Italian version, it works correctly. In the Language settings in WPML on the English domain (secondary domain), I see the English site address for IT.
Symptoms:
The WPML plugin doesn't work as expected.
