Background of the issue:
I am developing a site for a client where I replaced WP Bakery input with ACF input. The client is transitioning legacy content from WP Bakery to ACF fields. WP Bakery is still active on the site during this process. After moving content to ACF fields, the client removes content from WP Bakery and updates the post. Then, a translator is assigned to translate the content into a secondary language.
Symptoms:
After updating the post and assigning a translator, there are many additional images added to the content that supposedly need to be translated. The number of additional images varies from a few to hundreds.
Questions:
How is it possible that additional images are added to the content?
How can I get rid of those additional images?
