Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the translation of a page I modified in the base language on my WordPress site. I expected to add the translation to the translation jobs as I used to in earlier versions of the WPML plugin. The issue can be seen on this page: 隐藏链接. I also tried the quickfix provided here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/cant-add-myself-as-a-translator/, but it had no effect.
Symptoms:
I received an error message stating: 'Um sich selbst als Übersetzer zuzuweisen, müssen Sie sich zunächst als Englisch Übersetzer hinzufügen. Fügen Sie sich als Englisch Übersetzer hinzu und klicken Sie auf erneut prüfen oder wählen Sie eine andere Übersetzungsoption.' However, I cannot add myself as a translator because my user is not listed in the box to add as a new translator. Additionally, I get another error message: 'Der Übersetzer konnte dem Auftrag nicht zugewiesen werden.' The translation editor is not opened.
