Background of the issue:
We follow a process where, before adding new functionalities to our website, we create a clone of the original production site (fabricegrinda.com). The new functionalities are then implemented on the cloned site (new-prod.fabricegrinda.com). Once the updates are complete, we change the domain of new-prod.fabricegrinda.com to fabricegrinda.com, making it the new live site.
Symptoms:
After changing the domain from new-prod.fabricegrinda.com to fabricegrinda.com, WPML continues to treat the new production site as a copy, and we don't see an option to mark it as the original site. Additionally, if we re-register WPML, all of our invoices are deleted.
Questions:
Could you please guide us on how to correctly configure WPML so that it recognizes the new production site as the original one and also keeping our previous invoices?
