Symptoms: After setting up WPML, the pages were not visible anymore. I restored the site from an old backup. Questions: Could the issue be caused by the WordPress backend language being set to English while the content is in Italian? Can I solve the issue by changing the language of WordPress before setting up the plugin?

Background of the issue:
I tried to set up WPML for my website الرابط المخفي. The WordPress backend is set up in English, but the actual content is in Italian.

Symptoms:
After setting up WPML, the pages were not visible anymore. I restored the site from an old backup.

Questions:
Could the issue be caused by the WordPress backend language being set to English while the content is in Italian?
Can I solve the issue by changing the language of WordPress before setting up the plugin?
