I am experiencing an issue with WPML not detecting certain translatable strings in Elementor when using Dynamic Tags, specifically the “Display before” and “Display after” fields.

I use WordPress with Elementor (latest version), WPML (latest version), JetEngine (used for custom fields / components) and WPML Advanced Translation Editor.

Until some time ago, text entered in Elementor Dynamic Tags → Display before / Display after was available in the WPML Translation Editor (either directly or via String Translation).

Currently: Text entered in Display before / Display after is not picked up at all by WPML. The strings do not appear in the Translation Editor. They also do not appear in String Translation (e.g. under elementor or admin_texts_elementor_*)

Clearing all caches (WPML, Elementor “Regenerate Files & Data”, page cache, CDN) does not resolve this.

Changing WPML settings for JetEngine post types (from “Not translatable” to “Translatable – fallback to default language”) restores correct language context for custom fields, but does not make WPML detect the Elementor before/after strings.

Text entered in Elementor Dynamic Tag settings (Display before / after) should be exposed as translatable content to WPML, or registered as translatable strings (similar to other Elementor widget text)

Question: Is this a known limitation or regression in the Elementor–WPML integration? Is there a recommended or supported way to make Dynamic Tag “before/after” text translatable? Or is WPML’s official recommendation to avoid using Display before/after for translatable text altogether?

I’m happy to provide a minimal reproduction or staging access if needed.
