Background of the issue:
I am trying to disable the translation of the page الرابط المخفي. We used to have a German translation, but now we want to keep only the English version. I have unpublished and moved the German duplicate page to trash and changed the Translation settings to WordPress Editor as suggested in the documentation: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/removing-translation-from-pages/

Symptoms:
The option to switch to the German language still exists on the page.

Questions:
How can I completely remove the option to switch to German on this page?
