Background of the issue:
I am trying to import 10,000 multilingual properties (English and Arabic) into my site using WPML and an import plugin. Here are the steps I followed: Imported all taxonomies with their translations successfully. Imported 10,000 English properties, including all necessary custom fields, such as: _wpml_import_language_code, _wpml_import_source_language_code, _wpml_import_translation_group. (Note: I did not include _wpml_import_after_process_post_status in this step.) Imported 10,000 Arabic properties in a similar manner. After the import, all properties were listed as drafts. I used the 'Run WPML Import/Export' button, and the process began successfully with the steps: Setting Terms’ Language, Setting Posts’ Language.
Symptoms:
The process stalled during the 'Updating Final Post Status' step at approximately 21% (4,260/20,000 items processed). The process has not moved further for over 24 hours.
Questions:
Why is the process stuck at the "Updating Final Post Status" step, and how can I resolve this to ensure it completes successfully?
Is the missing _wpml_import_after_process_post_status field in the initial import causing this issue? If so, how can I correct it?
Is there a way to restart or resume the process without starting over?
