Background of the issue:
I am experiencing login problems on my site الرابط المخفي with users who have 'ä', 'ë', or 'ö' in their first name, last name, or nickname. The issue occurs only when logging in using the German language setting. There are no problems when logging in with the French language setting.

Symptoms:
Users with umlauts in their names cannot log in when using the German language setting.

Questions:
Why do users with umlauts in their names face login issues only in the German language setting?
How can I resolve the login issue for users with umlauts in their names?
