Background of the issue:
I have a page on my website: الرابط المخفي. My site is set up with three languages: English (default), Spanish, and German. Previously, the Spanish and German versions of this page existed, but the language switcher was not showing their flags on the front-end. To resolve this, I deleted the Spanish and German versions so I could rebuild the translations from scratch.
Symptoms:
After deleting the Spanish and German versions, I am unable to create new translations. On the English page, instead of showing the ➕ plus icon (to create a new translation), WPML still shows the ✏️ pencil icon for Spanish and German.
Questions:
How can I reset or fix the issue of the pencil icon showing instead of the plus icon after deletion?
How can I properly create fresh translations for the Spanish and German versions of the page?
