Background of the issue:
I'm configuring WPML on an existing multilingual WooCommerce store at الرابط المخفي. The WPML plugins have been active for a long time, but I hadn't fully configured translations for categories, attributes, and permalinks. I'm now ready to synchronize everything correctly while the store is live.
Symptoms:
When I try to translate the Store Base URL to French using WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency → Store URLs, the value doesn’t save. A pencil icon appears indicating a translation exists, but reopening the field shows it blank, and the translated URL returns a 404.

What is the correct procedure to save store base URLs and taxonomy slugs in WPML?
