I’m currently experiencing an issue with automatic translation on a WordPress site using WPML.
Context:
We created a copy of an existing website to rebuild it.
During the process, we removed the French pages so we could redesign the English versions from scratch.
The redesign is now complete, and we are trying to reintroduce French using WPML’s automatic translation.
Issue:
When attempting to use automatic translation, I receive the following error:
“Connection Error. Please wait a minute and reload this page. If the problem continues, please contact WPML support"
Even after refreshing the Translation Dashboard, the issue persists and I’m unable to translate any pages.
Could you please help identify why the translation engines are failing to load and how we can restore automatic translation functionality?
