[נפתר] Footer translation not showing in front end

Hi, I'm having an odd problem. I created a custom footer in my theme with full site editing and then translated it to the websites second language. The translation is completed and is showing in the editor when I check it in the back end, but the default footer.html content is shown front end. I already tried resetting the footer and editing + translating it again but the problem persists. Any idea what the cause could be here? Thanks
