Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue with the Brands URL slug not being translated correctly after the WordPress Brands plugin was disabled. The links to Brands pages are broken, leading to 404 pages. I have set the string translation for the WordPress URL product_brand tax slug to 'brand' and configured WPML settings for taxonomies translation to show only translated items. I also set different slugs in different languages for Brands, specifically for Russian to be 'brand'. The issue can be seen at: скрытая ссылка.
Symptoms:
The brand page link in the product page is leading to a 404 page. The current link is скрытая ссылка, but it should be скрытая ссылка.
