Background of the issue:
I am trying to use multiple custom menu links like #about and #contact on my website скрытая ссылка. I am using an Anchor widget within Elementor to make them work properly, so that upon clicking, the page scrolls to the desired place. However, in the translated version using WPML, it does not work.

Symptoms:
In the translated version of my site, the custom menu links do not work.

Questions:
Why are the custom menu links not working in the translated version of my site?
How can I make the Anchor widget work with WPML for translated pages?
