Background of the issue:
I am trying to update WPML plugins on my site скрытая ссылка using WP-CLI. When I run a generic wp update plugins command, I encounter issues with the WPML plugins. It seems I need to manually check for updates within WP Admin under Plugins -> Add Plugins -> Commercial to find the latest versions and avoid errors. I suspect this issue arises because I forced the installation of the plugins or due to a wp-cli cache with more recent updates. I want to batch update all websites via a bash script in Linux, but this manual step is a blocker.

Symptoms:
Warning: wpml-media-translation: version higher than expected. Warning: sitepress-multilingual-cms: version higher than expected. Warning: wpml-string-translation: version higher than expected. Error: No plugins updated.

Questions:
Can I trigger 'check for updates' with wp-cli or some scriptable method to avoid manual checks in WP Admin?
