Even if the translation is complete it remain in "on progess" state (in Italian "in corso"). What can I do for publish this translation? I know that out website has caching of various type, we already clean and deactivated all the plugin, event object cache and redis cache but this doesn't resolve the issue.

===MAIYA CONVERSATION TRANSCRIPT===

Maiya (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:06 am): Hi there! I understand you're having trouble with your translations remaining in an 'in progress' state even after they're complete, and you've already tried clearing your various caches, including object and Redis cache. Let's work on getting these published for you.

First, I see from your site's information that your WordPress Memory Limit is currently set to 0MB. For WPML and WordPress to function correctly, a much higher memory limit is essential (we recommend at least 256MB, preferably 512MB). This could be a significant factor in translations getting stuck.

Let's start by increasing your memory limit, and then we'll try to clear and resend the stuck translations:

1. **Increase WordPress Memory Limit**:
* Please add or update the following line in your **wp-config.php** file, just above the line `/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */`:
`define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');`
* *Note: This is a general WordPress best practice to ensure proper functionality for your theme (Storefront Child Theme) and plugins like WPML.*

2. **Pause Automatic Translation**:
* Go to **WPML → Translation Dashboard**.
* In the "Translate Everything Automatically" section at the top, if the switch is currently "On", please turn it to "Off" temporarily.

3. **Cancel In-Progress Jobs**:
* Go to **WPML → Support**.
* Look for the "Troubleshooting" page link and click it.
* On the "Troubleshooting" page, scroll down to find the "Cancel in-progress automatic jobs" button and click it. This will clear any currently stuck jobs.

4. **Resend Content for Translation**:
* Go to the original page or post that was stuck.
* Make a small, minor change to its content (e.g., add a space or a period).
* Save the page/post.
* Resend it for translation from the **Translation Dashboard**.

After completing these steps, please check if your translations are now progressing and can be published. Let me know how it goes!

pieralisiM (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:13 am): The problem still exist

Maiya (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:13 am): Thanks for letting me know that the problem still exists, even after trying those steps. I understand this can be frustrating when translations aren't publishing as expected.

Looking at your site's information, it still shows the WordPress Memory Limit at 0MB. This is a crucial setting for WPML's functionality, and if it hasn't been successfully increased, it could prevent the other troubleshooting steps from working effectively.

Could you please confirm if you were able to successfully update the `wp-config.php` file to `define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');`? Sometimes, server configurations or file permissions can prevent this change from taking effect.

What is the current WordPress Memory Limit displayed under **WPML → Support** in the 'WordPress' section? Knowing this will help us determine our next steps.

pieralisiM (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:15 am): After your suggestion I've setted but nothing changed

Maiya (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:15 am): Thanks for letting me know that the problem still exists, even after you've made the suggested change. I understand this can be quite puzzling when translations aren't publishing as expected.

I see from your site's information that the WordPress Memory Limit is still showing as 0MB. This is a critical setting for WPML's functionality, and if it hasn't been successfully increased, it could prevent the other troubleshooting steps from working effectively.

Could you please confirm the specific value you see for **WordPress Memory Limit** when you go to **WPML → Support**? This will help us determine if the change to your `wp-config.php` file was successfully applied and is being recognized by your WordPress installation.

pieralisiM (Dicembre 12, 2025 11:16 am): ersione 6.9
