Advanced Custom Fields - Inability to Translate External Links in "Same fields across languages" Mode

Overview of the issue

Currently is not possible to translate external links in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) when the field group is set to “Same fields across languages” mode.

Workaround

• Go to ACF > Field Groups page
• Edit Field Group: Access the ACF field group settings.
• Switch to Expert Mode: Change the configuration to “Expert” mode.
• Adjust Translation Preferences: For each URL field, set the “Translation Preferences” to “Translate.”
• Trigger Translation Job: Make a minor edit to the original page/post to generate a new translation job.
• Check Translation Availability: The URLs should now be available for translation in the WPML Translation Editor.
