Astra Theme - Some Translations Not Displaying When User Profile Language Matches Site's Default Language

Overview of the issue

When using the Astra theme, there are instances where certain translations will not display correctly if the language set in a user’s profile matches the default language of the site. This issue manifests in scenarios such as adding a product to the cart in a secondary language and navigating to the cart page. Despite being translated, the order steps do not appear in the translated language.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full backup of your site before proceeding.

• Open …/wp-content/plugins/astra-addon/classes/class-astra-theme-extension.php file.
• Look for line 180.
• Replace:

  if ( $wp_version >= 4.7 )  {
  	$get_locale = get_user_locale();
  }
  

• With:

  if ( $wp_version >= 4.7 && ! class_exists ('Sitepress') )  {
  	$get_locale = get_user_locale();
  }
