Background of the issue:
I am trying to manage translated Templates in WPML 4.8.5. When I assign a translated Template to the Bin (trash), it continues to be referenced. I want Templates to be permanently deleted, but sometimes I need to save them for future use during development. This issue has wasted me hours. You can see the issue on this page: 隐藏链接
Symptoms:
When a translated Template is assigned to the Bin/Trash, it continues to be referenced by WPML, instead of being ignored or assumed to no longer exist.
Questions:
Why does WPML continue to reference a Template that has been assigned to the Bin?
How can I ensure that trashed Templates are ignored by WPML?
