Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit products in WordPress using WPML. When doing so, I noticed a notice about duplicated SKUs. After checking the database, I found that two products with the same SKU exist. This issue occurs with translated products, which are saved as separate posts and share the same SKU as the original. I recall that in earlier versions, the SKU field for translated products was locked and couldn’t be changed, so this issue didn’t come up. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: 隐藏链接
Symptoms:
When editing products, I see a notice that the SKU is duplicated. This happens with translated products, which share the same SKU as the original.
Questions:
Is this expected behavior, or could there be something misconfigured in our settings?
Is this now default functionality or is there something we can adjust to prevent this?
