Hi,
I hope i can state my question clearly as English is not my native.
Here we go:
I'm rebuilding a website for a client. The main language is Dutch. The second language is English. The development site is hosted on a temporary domain at the moment. For the current live (old) live site, the Dutch website is hosted on a .nl domain and the English version on a .com domain.
My questions:
1) Is it possible to create the translation on a folder structure (i.e. mydomain.nl) and have the translation in mydomain.nl/en and when we go live and the .com domain is transferred to set the English translation to mydomain.com? I must be sure that all the urls are pointing to the right domain and url..
2) What is the best approach to achieve this?
3) Where can it go wrong and what should I do to avoid this?
